How to Install Drivers for Samsung ML-1660 Printer (and ML series)(Mac OS Ventura or newer)

- Connect Your Samsung ML-1660 Printer
- Connect your Samsung ML-1660 printer to your computer using a USB cable.
- Turn the printer ON.
2. Download and Install Samsung Printer Drivers v2.6
- Visit Apple Support to download Samsung Printer Drivers v2.6 . https://support.apple.com/kb/dl905?locale=en_US
3. Install Drivers via Pacifist 4. It’s a trick to install drivers manually.
- Visit https://www.charlessoft.com and download Pacifist 4 (it has a trial version that is enough for our needs).
- Install it and open.
- Then press Open Package.
- Choose “SamsungPrinterDrivers.dmg” and select “SamsungPrinterDrivers.pkg”.
- Navigate to Library folder > Install Files to Default Locations.
- Replace (or Update) all files that already exist.
4. Set Up Printer in System Preferences
- Open System Preferences and select Printers & Scanners.
- Optionally, Ctrl-click in the left panel and choose “Reset printing system.”
- Click the “+” button, then select “Samsung ML-1660 Series.”
- In the “Use” dropdown menu, choose “Select Software” and select “Samsung ML-1660 Series.”
- Click “Add” to add the printer, then click “OK.”
